A hand-drawn portrait is truly unique and perfect for marking a special occasion such as a christening, wedding anniversary, birthday or Christmas. UK artist & illustrator Maria Gonzalez graduated from Central St Martins in Product Design in 2001, but has been painting and drawing portraits since the age of 14 and it is her true passion. Past commissions include Adults, Babies & Children, Family groups, Celebrities and Pets, (cats, dogs, horses and even highland cows).
All you need to do is email us a good quality photograph with your requirements, i.e. number of subjects, preferred medium, (pencil, watercolour, pastel etc.), and size. We will give you a completion date (usually 3 weeks) and confirmation of price: info@mayflyart.com. Christmas portrait orders should be placed as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Our Satisfaction Guarantee means that if after receiving an email proof of the finished work you are not entirely happy with the portrait, there is no obligation to pay for it and Maria will keep the work, (after hundreds of commissions, this hasn’t happened yet!).
